The sell-out handicap competition attracted a spectacular array of players dressed in red, white and blue outfits in celebration of the queen. After dazzling onlookers on courts players enjoyed traditional afternoon tea complete with strawberries and champagne.
Sandra Sinclair presented prizes to the victorious winners, Simon Jowitt and Nat Hudson. It was a love-all fancy dress win for Scott Davenport and Brian Green as ‘Evel Knievel’; while Gill Killworth netted the ‘Best Hat’ prize; and Paula Lees’ Victoria sponge was a smash hit!
