Cheshire’s leading divorce, family law and wills solicitors Sinclair Law has expanded with the acquisition of Bramhall-based Nicola J Tiernan Solicitors. The acquisition means Sinclair Law gains a talented new consultant, as well as a physical foothold in Stockport.
A well-respected solicitor with almost 30 years of experience, Nicola Tiernan joins Sinclair Law as another family law and divorce expert.
The acquisition is expected to be successful in part because Nicola shares many of the same values that have helped Co-Directors Lucy Hart and Sandra Sinclair grow Sinclair Law into one of the most highly-regarded family law practices in Cheshire.
With physical offices right in the heart of Bramhall, Nicola J Tiernan Solicitors will now become a division of Sinclair Law.

Sinclair Law and Nicola Tiernan have both been long-term proponents of the ‘collaborative approach’ to family law, where parties try to work together as much as possible and reach a resolution without the stress and expense of going to court.

Sinclair Law’s physical expansion means that the practice can better serve clients in Bramhall and across Stockport. Meanwhile, Polish-speaking Agata Napora recently completed her training contract with Sinclair Law and is now working to boost access to legal services for a growing base of Polish clients across Cheshire and South Manchester.
In time, the Nicola J Tiernan Solicitors brand will be fully absorbed into Sinclair Law. In the meantime, however, the Woodford Road office has had new joint branding fitted above the door.
